Neo-nazis are pretty rampant, you can hopefully understand that a person can get rather shocked and cautious when someone says they want to act out sexual fantasies related to Nazism.

Also, don’t put words in my mouth about coping with your generational trauma, when there is no way for me to know what your reasons even were. For all I knew, your intentions could have been a lot more ignorant or sinister.

A lot of folk use the controlled nature of a bdsm scene as a means of catharsis. As a survivor of sexual assault and first generation child of a Shoah survivor, the notion of taking some horrific things which have happened to me and my family and being able to control them and in doing so take some of the emotionally traumatic the power out of them makes a lot of sense as a fantasy. Fantasies are also very different than actions.
